After a few months of not being visible in the limelight, Demi Lovato has now released her new single off her upcoming 3rd studio album which is set for Fall release. The album is untitled yet but Demi described the album as “a little more pop, more R&B and more soulful.”

“It has a different sound to it so I’m really excited to see how it turns out. Keri Hilson and Rihanna  are inspiring my sound right now. I have also written a half Spanish song. It turned out really incredible so hopefully my fans will love it too.” Demi said.

Last June 26, Demi confirmed her collaboration with Timbaland after he spoke about his interest on working with the superstar. She’s been working on the third studio album since 2010. And after her rehab, it inspires her more to work and make more music for her fans. And now, she’s working on new material for the upcoming album. The first single is “Skyscraper”, co-written by Toby Gad, Lindy Robbins and Kerli. And the song actually features Jordin Sparks on the back vocals which makes it more cooler! The song sounds really powerful with Demi’s rock-ish vocals. It kinda sound like her recent song “Don’t Forget“, only current. The song was released digitally on iTunes and immediately reached number 4. Fans are raving for the song and supporting Demi all the way!

The teaser for Skyscraper’s Music Video was posted on Demi’s Official Website on July 11. The video was directed by Marc Pellington.
