It’s been 5 years since the last time we heard of this powerhouse artist, JoJo, with her sophomore album “The High Road“. Now, the 20-year-old singer is back with yet another awesome album “Jumping Trains” coming this October 2011 with a rock-ish song “Disaster” as the 1st single off the 3rd album. The new record sounds like her past songs “Too Little Too Late” & “Leave (Get Out)” but more current. The song is slated to be release digitally this  September 6. Fans couldn’t wait any longer to download the song on iTunes and listen to it, all day long!

JoJo released a single called “The Other Chick” which was supposed to be the 1st single off the new album and later became a buzz single. She explained “It’s something cool that’ll introduce people to a more mature me, I suppose. It’s edgy, but it’s a buzz single.” About the album title, she stated “My third album will be called Jumping Trains and it’s very symbolic for a variety of reasons… Moving from Boston to L.A., transitioning from being a girl to being a young woman, living on my own, taking a different direction sonically, and just really finding myself and just jumping into a new chapter of life.

JoJo will be opening for Joe Jonas & Jay Sean on their co-headlining 19 city fall tour beginning September 6 at the House of Blues in Boston, MA through till October 6th at the Best Buy Theater in New York. Same date of the digital release of “Disaster” on iTunes. The song is delivered and played since August 29 on US radio, so you guys can request for it as many as you can, for JoJo!

Meanwhile, you can listen to “Disaster” by JoJo, posted by Interscope Records over Youtube. Enjoy!
